Alison Dixon

Client Services Manager, HESTA

Alison Dixon

Alison has been a Client Relationship Manager with HESTA Super Fund since 1996. She holds a Diploma of Superannuation  Management and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation). She is a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia.

Alison is a National Director of Women in Super and the recently retired founding Chair of the Tasmanian Organising Committee for the Mothers Day Classic. She was a Tasmanian Finalist in the 2007 Telstra Business Women’s Awards in the Community & Government category and was awarded the inaugural AIST Super Business Development Professional Award for Excellence in December 2008.

Alison is married to Graham and has one daughter, Christie, 29 and two step daughters -  Bree, 29 and Elise, 23. She likes to stay fit which is easy with two very active border collies to look after.  She and Graham enjoy travelling overseas.

 

Sandra Byers

Superannuation Services Assistant, IAS

Sandra ByersSandra has worked in the super industry since 1995 and is now employed by Industry Administration Services as the Office Manager in Tasmania, working full time.

Sandra is the Secretary of the WIS group in Tasmania, also Secretary of the Hobart Mothers Day Classic Organising Committee and has been both since their inceptions in Tasmania.

Sandra is also a Life Member of the Claremont Junior Football Club and has for the last six years been involved in fundraising as Treasurer on a parent committee for the T.S. Derwent Australian Navy Cadet Unit.

 

Colleen Harbod

Team Leader, Retirement Benefits Fund

Colleen HarbodColleen started in the superannuation industry as an administrator with AMP Corporate Superannuation in 1989 and was made redundant in 1995 whilst pregnant with her one and only child. Colleen re-entered the superannuation industry in 1998 with the Retirement Benefits Fund and is still there today. Colleen has held many positions in RBF.  Starting in reception, she quickly moved into an administration role. Colleen was selected for a Management Cadetship in 2001 and has since filled important roles in major projects within the business including the implementation of the Better Super initiatives. Colleen now heads up the Defined Benefits Team.
 
Colleen holds the Advance Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation) and Diploma of Superannuation Management. She is also a Fellow of ASFA.
 
Colleen is also a member of the Australian Army Reserves with 20 year’s service and is married with one child.

 

Julie Stanfield

Manager, Retirement Benefits Fund

Julie StanfieldJulie commenced her career in superannuation at the State Superannuation Office (now known as the Retirement Benefits Fund) in January 1977 as a junior superannuation clerk.  32 years on and after a variety of roles within RBF she is the longest serving employee. The skills and knowledge that she has acquired along the way serve her well in her present role as Manager of Payments and Early Release. Julie is a strong advocate for RBF and is an invaluable member of RBF’s Management Team.

Julie is married with 2 adult children, one grandson and a cuddly British Shorthair cat called Monty. Her passion is for travel and she recently returned from 3 months caravanning around Australia.

 

Donna Mee

Donna MeeDonna has been involved in superannuation since joining the fulltime workforce in 1981.

She spent 7 years with AMP Society then 5 years with Westpac Financial Services, before joining Financial Synergy in 1993.

Donna worked in administration positions from general duties clerk to state superannuation administration manager for Tasmania, working with superannuation funds, and she managed investment schemes and unit trusts.

Currently, Donna is employed as a Senior Acurity Consultant assisting clients all around Australia.

When not working she loves being with her husband & 5 year old daughter, doing volunteer work at her archery club, and has an interest in science fiction books and movies.

 

Tania Wilson

Team Leader, Investment Administration, SMF

Tania WilsonTania started in the Superannuation industry as an administrator with Select Managed Funds (SMF) in 2004 following a move back to Hobart from WA to be closer to family.

Since then Tania has progressed to the role of Team Leader. She has seen SMF grow over this period to become Australian Wealth Management which has recently merged with IOOF Holdings Ltd (IOOF).

The companies' growth has provided Tania with many opportunities and challenges for personal and professional development. Her current role is as a Team Leader for Investment Administration.

 

Caron Hitchcock

Business Development Manager, ME Bank

 Caron HitchcockCaron has worked in the finance industry all of her professional life and has undertook a number of roles starting as a part time teller (when her two beautiful girls commenced school) and then moving into Customer Service roles such as Customer Service officer, Supervisor Customer Service, Corporate Client Officer and Manager Investments and Savings. In February 2006 she was appointed the State Business Development Manager – Tasmania with ME Bank.

She is a member of the Women’s In Super Tasmanian Forum and the Hobart Mothers Day Organising Committee… something she states as being the most exhilarating and rewarding experience, an event that every year continues to exceed even her own expectations and one that she is extremely proud and honoured to be part of. Caron also holds an Executive Graduate Certificate in Business Management with the Melbourne University Business School and is a Fellow of FINSIA Tasmania.

Caron has two adult daughters and when not being Mum, confidante and or best friend (sometimes the three are roled into one) to them enjoys spending time catching up with friends, travelling and laughing! 


Robyn Kingston

Team Leader – Defined Contributions and Mail Processing Retirement Benefits Fund

Robyn KingstonRobyn started at the old Trust Bank in 1996 as a teller and, wanting more of a challenge, joined the Retirement Benefits Fund in April 1999 for an 8 month temporary contract. She loved it so much she has never left. Robyn has always been a part of the administration area of the business, moving from an superannuation administrator to Senior Superannuation administrator officer to became the Team Leader for the Defined Contributions and Mail Processing areas in 2008 and remains in that position today.

Robyn recently joined the committee for the Hobart Mothers Day Classic after some persuasion from Colleen Harbod!

Robyn holds a Diploma of Superannuation Management and is married with two daughters.

 

Joanne Fenton

Member Education Manager (Tasmania), HESTA

Joanne has been involved in the superannuation industry for twenty years, the last five of which have been with HESTA, both in Western Australia and more recently in her home state Tasmania. She commenced work with SMF in Tasmania and has worked with defined benefit funds, master trusts and industry funds.

She is currently a Member Education Manager/Superannuation Adviser for HESTA in Tasmania.
