The Mother's Day Classic represents a major contribution from Women in Super members who volunteer their time to help out with the organisation of the event each year. Without the support of the Women in Super members on the Mother’s Day Classic organising committees and the organisations for which the members work, the event would not be possible.
The Mother's Day Classic is mainly organised by volunteers, relying on the generosity of individuals giving time and support to ensure each year is a success.
"The Mother's Day Classic is a great event to be involved in as a volunteer on the day. Thousands of participants are running or walking to raise money for breast cancer research and you have the opportunity to contribute in a small way to the efficient running of the event. The volunteers are well briefed and supported. Everyone pitches in and there is enormous personal reward for your effort."
